Starting Stats and such
A long time ago I decided that random chance should not define what character you made. I tried to promote it further, but I have ran across a few people who's characters lowest stat ends up being a 13 and they have several 18's and such. I ran across one such person who was really bad with that so decided from that point on whenever I ran a game I would have the players do something different. So I give each player 80 points to distribute among thier scores. This allows a average of 4 13's and two 14's for stats. This can get you a character with the stats you want that match your image of the character. If you think the character will be strong and intelligent then they can be. It is just that you cannot excel in everything. Once in a while I encounter resistance to this method but after reviewing some peoples characters that I have seen in the past I think that it is the best out there.

Stats
80 points to distribute among the 6 ability scores as needed. Ranging between 3-18 before racial modifiers.

Charisma
I use a alternative rule that your charisma is also your strenght of soul and grip onto mortal life. When you hit 0 hitpoints you do not die. You can only drop into the negative equal to your charisma score. So if you have a 10 charisma you can goto -10 before letting go and passing on. I do this for several reasons. One charisma typically is a dumping stat for players. They put a 3 in it and play that way. I dont mind it but I figure with 3rd edition since charisma is also a measure of ones soul then putting a 3 in it would mean your character does not care to stay on this world that long.

A printable calander with space for notes

I am allowing or using some spells from the Relics and Rituals books. Note some of these spells were modified as I tried to fit them into my game. Also note as your character levels if you are a wizard you cannot choose the spells out of this book unless you find a scroll or spend downtime in research.

Spells from Relics and Rituals 1
Spells from Relics and Rituals 2
Here it is in Excel format for both books.
